She was educated at Royal Acadamy of Dramatic Art, London, England. Caroline was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor lo Laws by Bristol University, Bristol, England. As a result of her marriage, she was styled as Duchess of Beaufort on 5th Feb 1984.

Age 66 at the time of her death, she died from Cancer of the Pancreas...

Caroline married David Robert Somerset 11th Duke of Beaufort.
